Buyer question research system

Your content answers the questions you assumed buyers have — not the ones they actually ask. We build the system that finds the real questions across AI tools, search, and sales calls. AI clusters and classifies; a person decides which ones matter.

Who this is for

B2B

Founders who publish content but guess at what their buyers actually want answered.

Marketing leads sitting on sales-call recordings and support tickets full of real questions nobody has pulled together.

Teams doing GEO or SEO who need the agreed question list before they can decide what to produce.

Experts whose buyers ask the same things in every call — but that list lives in people's heads, not on paper.

Teams who produce content steadily but can't tell which questions are worth answering and which are noise.

Common pain points

Why content misses the questions buyers actually ask

You publish content, but it answers the questions you assumed buyers have — not the ones they actually ask.

The real questions are scattered across sales calls, support tickets, AI tools, and forums, and nobody has pulled them together.

You can't tell a high-intent buyer question from idle curiosity, so content effort lands in the wrong places.

Keyword tools give you search volume, not the actual phrasing or the intent behind what a buyer is really asking.

The question list lives in a few people's heads and leaves the company when they do.

GEO and SEO work stalls because there is no agreed list of the questions you need to be the answer to.

Know what your buyers actually ask

We build the system that finds the real questions your buyers ask about your category — across AI tools, search, and sales calls — and keeps that list current. AI clusters and classifies the questions; a person decides which ones matter and what counts as a real buyer question.

How we work

  1. 1

We pull the real questions from where they already live — sales-call recordings, support tickets, AI tools, search, and the questions your team hears every week.

  2. 2

We connect AI to cluster and classify the questions by topic and intent and to surface the high-intent ones; a person decides which clusters matter and what is a real buyer question versus noise.

  3. 3

We hand over a living question list and the cadence to keep it current — so GEO, content, and sales work from the same agreed set, not from guesses.

What we build

What this work includes

Area 1

A buyer-question source map

We map where the real questions already live — sales-call recordings, support tickets, AI tools, search, the sales team's inbox — so the research draws on what buyers actually say, not a brainstorm. The map is what makes the question list real instead of assumed.

Deliverable

A source map: where buyer questions come from, and how each source is pulled into the list.

Area 2

AI clustering by topic and intent — within written limits

We connect AI to cluster the raw questions by topic and to classify them by intent — so a thousand phrasings become a handful of clear buyer questions. What AI may never do — invent a question, or treat search volume as proof a question matters — is written down. AI clusters and classifies; a person owns the list.

Deliverable

An AI clustering-and-classifying flow with the limits written: AI groups and labels the questions; a person decides which clusters are real.

Area 3

An intent and priority model

Not every question is worth answering. We set the model for telling a high-intent buyer question from idle curiosity, and for ranking which ones to answer first — so content and GEO effort goes where buyers actually decide, not where volume is highest.

Deliverable

An intent-and-priority model: how a question is judged high-intent, and the ranked shortlist of what to answer first.

Area 4

A human relevance step

A person owns which questions make the list and which are noise — because the fastest way to waste a content programme is to answer questions no buyer is really asking. The relevance call stays with a person who knows the buyer, not with the model.

Deliverable

A relevance step: the named owner who confirms which questions are real buyer questions before they enter the list.

Area 5

A boundary to the GEO audit and content work — what this is and is not

This finds the questions; it is not the GEO audit (which diagnoses where you don't show up in AI answers) and not the content system (which produces the answers). We write the boundary and cross-link the three, so this defines the target, the audit measures it, and the content wins it — without the three blurring into one vague offer.

Deliverable

A written boundary + cross-link: where buyer-question research ends and the GEO audit and content production begin.

Area 6

A living question list the team keeps current

We hand the system over as a living question list plus the cadence to refresh it — because what buyers ask shifts, and a list captured once goes stale. The goal is one agreed set of buyer questions that GEO, content, and sales all work from, maintained by the team without us.

Deliverable

A living question list + a refresh cadence: the agreed buyer questions, who maintains them, and how often.

Your content answers the questions buyers actually ask, so the effort lands where they decide instead of where you guessed.

The real questions — scattered across calls, tickets, and AI tools — are pulled into one list a person can act on.

High-intent buyer questions are told apart from idle curiosity, so you answer what moves a deal first.

GEO, content, and sales work from the same agreed question set, not three different sets of guesses.

AI does the clustering and classifying; a person owns which questions matter, with the limit that AI never treats volume as truth written down.

The question list stays current because the team maintains it on a cadence — it doesn't go stale the week after it's built.

Answers before we start

How is this different from the GEO audit?

The GEO audit diagnoses where you don't show up in AI answers. This finds the questions worth showing up for in the first place — the input the audit and the content both need. The research defines the target set; the audit measures where you stand against it; the content wins it. Many teams need all three; if you don't yet know which questions matter, start here.

Isn't this just keyword research?

No. Keyword tools give you search volume and phrasing for queries typed into Google. This captures the real questions buyers ask — in sales calls, support tickets, and AI tools — with the intent behind them, not just search volume. A high-volume keyword and a high-intent buyer question are often not the same thing, and content built on volume alone answers the wrong ones.

Does AI decide which questions matter?

No. AI clusters and classifies the raw questions so they're workable, but a person decides which clusters are real buyer questions and which are noise. The rule that AI never invents a question, and never treats search volume as proof a question matters, is written into the system — because relevance is a judgement about your buyer, not a count.

Is this a market research agency or a one-off report?

No. We don't hand you a research deck and leave. We build the system that produces a living question list and the cadence to keep it current, and we hand it over — your team maintains it without us. The deliverable is a system you own, not a report that's out of date in a quarter.

Do we need GEO or a content system in place first?

No. This is the upstream step — it feeds both the GEO work and the content system. You can start here, get the agreed question list, and then decide what to audit and what to produce. If you already have GEO or content underway, this gives them the shared target they're missing.

What does this work NOT include?

It does not include the GEO audit (separate, cross-linked), content production (the content system produces the answers), a keyword-tool subscription, paid market-research panels, or an AI that decides relevance or publishes on its own. If your real need is producing the answers rather than finding the questions, we point you to the content system.

Ready to find the questions your buyers actually ask?

Book a 30-minute call to look at where your buyers' real questions already live — the sales calls, the tickets, the AI tools — and how few of them your content answers today. We'll talk through what a living buyer-question list would look like and how your team would keep it current. If you're earlier than that, we'll tell you where to start.
